The trip to Ethiopia in February 2008 was amazing once again. Three of us travelled; Kingsley, Becky and Jean all from New Life Baptist Church in Northallerton.
Becky and Jean’s main focus was the prisons and Kingsley concentrated on the Pastor’s Conference.
It was good to visit places like Ziwey and Nazareth once again. A lot of work has been done since last year in Ziwey, with new ladies quarters and toilet blocks built. This is such a blessing to the prisoners. Becky and Jean were very shocked in one of the prisons to see 700 men sleeping in one room.

The Conference was fantastic. Kingsley took the theme of ‘Arise and Lead’ and ministered to 100 leaders over 7 Sessions in two days. As usual we hosted the conference with Pastor Daniel of Prison Fellowship Ethiopia at the Ghion Hotel. We treated all the delegates to wonderful meals over the 2 days and it was wonderful to see the same men and women returning each year to listen to the Word of God. Some of these men lead large ministries and really never have the opportunity to sit and be ministered to like they do at this conference.

We are hoping to invite all the wives/husbands next year and increase to 200 people and stretch also to three days.
