Bob Searle, Andy Paget and Kingsley Armstrong went to Ghana for the special 10th Anniversary year. This was a great occasion and well organised by Pastor Osmond Owusu.

They started off at Akropong School for the Blind on a follow up visit promised during the youth visit of October 2007.  Kingsley had promised Priscilla Ward that he would use the money she raised to get the equipment the school had requested. The team bought £2000 worth of equipment including 3 Braille machines.

They had a wonderful day with the wonderful blind children and Kingsley rang Priscilla from the school where she spoke with the Vice Principal, Joseph.

IGO first came to Ghana in 1998 and this, therefore,  the 10th Anniversary. We held a special Conference, hosted by Pastor Osmond with the help of all his men and the Divine Healers Church.

Andy, Bob & Kingsley preached on the theme, ‘ARISE’. It was a truly blessed time with the Lord. Over 270 certificates were given out at the end and the team certainly felt that it was the best organised time they had ever had in Ghana. Osmond had done a brilliant job. Osmond had arranged a special anniversary cake and it was a real celebration time.

Andy also found time to go to the Ivory Coast and encourage Pastor Solomon and his wife, Armande.

Kingsley and Bob found time to go to the African Nations Cup and watch Ghana beat Morocco 2-1. They eventually finished third in the tournament so congratulations to them.
