The Team

The Joshua Project started in 1995 when Kingsley felt the Lord was speaking to him from the book of Joshua. As a family, they moved to North Wales to found ‘The Joshua Project’

For the first 2 years, the Joshua Project consisted of a 3 week training course based in North Wales designed to help people discover what their ‘land’ or ‘ministry’ was. Then Kingsley brought the course to churches throughout the nation bringing whole churches through the Joshua Project in a week.

They moved back to Northallerton and developed a second course based on the book of Judges, called J.P.2.

At this time Kingsley also joined the pastoral staff at New Life Baptist Church in Northallerton. Then the Lord began to open other countries to them and Kingsley started to travel.

Doors began to open in Ghana, then The Ivory Coast and Ethiopia. Guatemala, Romania and Pakistan.
God spoke again in January of 2003 through Joshua 1:14. There were 2 ½ tribes in Israel who would not live in the land of faith. But before they were allowed to settle down, Joshua told them to cross the Jordan and help their brothers possess their land and when they had done that, they could return and settle. This was God directing Kingsley and Cathy in a direct way to lay down their pastoral charge and serve their brothers & sisters overseas 100%.
This is what they have been doing since September 2003.
